My Why
I've had a love of beauty and everything makeup since I was probably 5 years old. Looking back, my cheap Claire's "everything" makeup palette was definitely my gateway (sparkly blue eyeshadow and all haha).
For a long time I never felt comfortable enough to share this part of myself. There was a quiet, nagging voice telling me makeup wasn't a real passion. That it wasn't valuable, not serious enough to claim out loud, that girls who like makeup are frivolous...the list goes on.
In short, that voice got really annoying.
After going through my own journey of accepting what truly lights me up, I stopped waiting for permission to take my art seriously and to just enjoy it instead.
What I want to do now is simple: help others in my hometown look a little kinder at their own reflection.
Most of us are our own harshest critic, zooming in on every flaw while the people who love us, just see us. The way I see it, my job is to close that gap and to help you see yourself the way people in your corner already do.
